Kenya's population is hugely affected by the struggles of HIV/AIDS, poverty and unemployment. It is known to be one of the poorest countries in Africa. There are countless possibilities to impact the lives of those that are affected by HIV/AIDS related problems, such as in the Nairobi slums, surrounding orphanages, schools, and hospitals.

The outskirts of Cape Town are some of the poorest areas in Africa and there are countless possibilities to impact the lives of those that are affected by these difficulties through this project.Your mission on the Cape Town Medical and Clinic Assistance project is to make a positive impact on the community through providing much needed assistance to understaffed township clinics. Also help to uplift the community through education as you work with disadvantaged children in various pre-schools and day care centres.
This project is perfect for you if you don't want a formal classroom environment, but you'd like to lend a hand, help out and make a difference at one of the social centres we work with. Also, if you want first-hand experience of real South American culture and if you have initiative. You can also learn Spanish while you're there. No qualifications or previous experience are necessary, just a good dose of enthusiasm!>

When you're on your placement, if you'd like to extend your time, you can do so at a cost of £75 per additional week.

Anyone over the age of 18 wanting to make a difference to peoples lives in Ghana. You'll be involved with everything from building, sports, teaching and handing out mosquito nets plus you get to travel around Ghana. During 2011 we're building a school, so come and get involved!

Volunteer in Malawi for 2, 4, 8 or 12 weeks to focus on malaria prevention in underprivileged villages along the shores of Lake Malawi. Volunteers will become a member of a team that works on malaria prevention projects and helps the fight against malaria through malaria prevention initiatives and increasing malaria awareness in Malawi.
