The children of Villa Maria are living well below the poverty line, some on less than 5 dollars a week.Volunteers are required to help keep the children entertained thus away from gangs and the wrong side of the law.By organizing games and informal teaching children are not left to fend for themselves and are provided with a safe environment to grow. The Expedition is all inclusive there are no hidden costs and includes the Inca trail ice climbing to name but a few of the adrenaline charged activities.

This trip comprises of three phases a language, project and expedition. The language phase helps with your understanding of the culture and communicating, the project work benefits the development of both the community and the volunteer, the expedition pushes you to your limits!
Following a three week intensive Spanish course in Arequipa the team travels into the Manu Bio sphere to start work deep in the Amazon on reforestation and conservation. After all the hard work and it is HARD work! The group then head of on an expedition that takes them off the beaten track to some of South Americas best kept secrets.

The last phase of the trip is a 6 week expedition that involves; white water rafting, the Inca trail, ice climbing, horse riding to name but a few of adrenaline charged activities.
