You may be working at a veterinary clinic on the edge of Ulaanbaatar, which deals with all types of small animals. They are always keen to have an extra pair of hands to help out in their basic surgery. There are also some opportunities to work with racehorses. You can live outside of the city with a horseman and his family and help with their daily tasks. Horses are the most prized animal in Mongolia especially those being prepared for racing at the Naadam festival. The clinic is always busy - with lots of opportunities to gain experience.
