Cost details:

In one placement (Pro-Ninos) you will have to prepare your dinners and weekend meals*. The visa costs £60. Those on teaching placements take a one-week Teaching Skills Course before departure which costs £168.

Your placement

Projects are in orphanages, day care centres, a YMCA centre and rural schools, where you could be looking after infants or supervising children up to the age of eighteen. On particular orphanage has a farm attached and your duties may include milking goats or working in a market garden. In the majority of these placements you will help with homework and playing with the children or teach in the morning and run activities, like sport and music, in the afternoon.
